Day 2 of 21 | The Importance of Your Golf Ball Position and Foot Placement

Your golf ball position and how you place your feet at setup has a huge effect on the kind of shots you can hit. This page will show show you how you should setup to encourage a draw/hook. Remember that exaggeration is the quickest way to turn your slice into a draw.

Let’s cover your ball position first!

Golf Ball Position

For today's task I would like you to concentrate on on placing the ball no further forward than the middle of your stance. Also remember to implement what you learnt in Day 1. The following illustrations show you exactly what you should do ntoday as far as ball positioning and the grip are concerned. Notice how far back the ball is positioned and how strong the grip is. Copy this and remember, the more you exaggerate at this stage, the quicker your slice will turn into a draw/hook!

The further back you position the ball in your stance, the easier it is to hit a draw/hook.
