Today you will learn how to improve golf swing. I'm sure you've been waiting anxiously to get started with this after practising all the basic components like grip and setup.
As you know, the swing is a chain reaction, consisting of many different parts - I suggest that you practice them in isolation, starting with the take-away. Eventually you will put all the bits together and end up with a golf swing that will serve you well!
Many golfers do not realize the huge impact that the take-away has on the rest of the swing. Quite simply without a good, solid and consistent take-away you won't be able to improve golf swing.
- Most golfers that slice the ball do so because they take the club too far on the inside at the start of the backswing. This may be because they've heard that the golf ball must be struck from the inside to produce a draw. Although this is correct, it's also true that many golfers that take the club too much on the inside at the start of the backswing, tend to come over the top on the downswing which of course helps to produce a slice.
