Moving on from yesterday’s takeaway position, we're now going to look at a very important position in the backswing. At about the mid-stage, your club is parallel with the ground as in the picture. To get to this point in the swing, just keep moving the clubhead beyond the point you got to yesterday (hands over your right foot) until the club reaches horizontal. The most important aspect of this position is that the toe of the clubface needs to point directly up towards the sky. Today's drill will help you to get your club into the correct position.
